Delhi Traffic Police announced some more routes were being reopened, including Bhairon Marg and sections of the Ring Road, as waterlogging cleared up, also Delhi Metro will resume normal operations from Monday, however commuting from Noida and Ghaziabad to Central Delhi could be an ordeal as only a single lane is operational on both roadways of Vikas Marg.
Additional deployment of traffic personnel will be ensured as offices will be open on Monday after the weekend and employees are expected to be back at work.
Delhi Traffic Police stated that while entry to ISBT Kashmere Gate is closed, people who are coming from the east should take Ashram, Sarai Kale Khan and Nizamuddin routes to reach Central Delhi.
Further, the Ring Road from Majnu ka Tila to Hanuman Setu is closed along with an expressway from IP College to Chandgi Ram Akhara.

The police officer said that “The Carriageway from Chandgi Ram Akhara to Shanti Van has also been closed due to mud as the opening carriageway may affect the safety of travellers. To ease traffic, one carriageway from Hanuman Setu to Salimgarh bypass to IP Flyover has been opened. Commuters going to Nizamuddin may use this road and take a left turn from the IP Flyover to the Vikas Marg loop towards Laxmi Nagar – Akshardham highway”.
On Sunday night an advisory as been issued, traffic officers said the entry of heavy-good vehicles has been banned from Singhu, Tikri, Rajokari, Badarpur, Chilla, Gazipur, Loni, Apsara and Bhopura border points. However, there are no hindrances to vehicles carrying essential commodities or services and relief materials.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that the government is pumping out water from the remaining flooded areas and life is slowly returning to everyday routine. He declared that the government will provide financial aid of ₹10,000 to each flood-affected family and special camps. will be set up for those whose Aadhar cards and other documents were washed away.
