Recently, the software WhatsApp, which is owned by Meta, added a new feature that lets users share quick video messages. Users may now record brief films using the new function, sending them as an alternative to text messages. The length of these real-time video communications is restricted to a maximum of 60 seconds. The feature is currently undergoing a global deployment and will soon be accessible to all users globally.

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, announced the most recent WhatsApp update in a Facebook post. In a little video, he illustrated how the functionality works and how people may use it with ease. The function will include a video recorder icon next to the text box, which will function similarly to how real-time voice communications are recorded. Users can make up to 60-second-long quick films with this icon.

In an official blog post, WhatsApp also offered thorough information regarding the most recent update. According to the instant messaging software, the new function enables users to record video messages, providing a unique touch to a variety of occasions including sending birthday wishes, announcing good news, or communicating any crucial information.

The blog claims that both the Android and iOS platforms are progressively rolling out the new video messaging feature to consumers globally. Users can download the most recent version of WhatsApp from the Google Play Store or App Store to directly access the feature. Additionally, the business asserts that these video messages are completely end-to-end encrypted to ensure secure communication.

How to Use New Feature of Whatsapp –

A video message can be sent similarly to a voice message. Your message can be made and distributed by tapping to enter video mode and holding to record the video. Swipe up to lock the recording if you’d like to do that as well. The video message will immediately start playing without any sound when recipients open it in a chat. The sound will, however, start playing when you tap the video.
