Telangana Weather Update:

In several areas of the state during the last two days, rainfall has shattered all previous records. IMD’s forecast for Friday calls for modest rainfall, which is a relief. The administration has announced today a holiday for all schools as a precaution.

But in the last four days, the state has had up to 8 fatalities due to excessive rain. Since July 22, eight people have died in Telangana as a result of weather-related accidents. On Thursday, the state was hit with further heavy rain, which caused low-lying areas to be flooded and highways and agricultural products to be damaged.
