PUBG Lover, Seema Haider Case Update:
Seema Haider, a resident of Pakistan who illegally crossed the border into India with her four children through Nepal in order to wed Greater Noida resident Sachin Meena, whom she met in a PUBG chatroom, has applied for Indian citizenship.
As she intends to live in India with her children and her new husband Sachin Meena, Haider is said to have written to President Droupadi Murmu asking for Indian citizenship.
This occurs as a result of an ongoing investigation into her unauthorized entry into India by the Uttar Pradesh Police and Anti-Terrorism Squad, as well as growing calls for her deportation to Pakistan.
In order to be with her partner Sachin Meena in Greater Noida, the 30-year-old woman from Sindh illegally entered India in May.
In her petition to President Murmu, Haider reportedly asked for permission to remain in India, according to the report . She asserts that Indian customs and culture have had a significant influence on her.
Haider also begged President Murmu for pity in her petition.
On Monday and Tuesday, the Anti-Terrorist Squad of the Uttar Pradesh Police questioned Seema (30) and her Indian lover Sachin Meena (22). They were detained on July 4 by the Greater Noida police, but on July 7 a judge granted them release.
Two videocassettes, four mobile phones, five “authorised” Pakistani passports, one “unused passport” with an incomplete name and address, and an identity card were among the items the state police reported receiving from Seema Haider during the ATS interview.
When asked if Seema might be a Pakistani spy, the Special DGP indicated nothing could be said at this point. “Two countries are involved in the affair. It would not be proper to make any statements in this regard until we have sufficient evidence, he said.
In 2020, the couple first connected through the video game PUBG. After 15 days of online gaming, they swapped WhatsApp numbers, according to a statement released by the UP police on Wednesday that summarized the results of the pair’s ATS interrogation on Monday and Tuesday.
According to the police, Sachin and Seema first interacted in person in Kathmandu, Nepal, where they remained together from March 10 to March 17. On May 10, Seema traveled from Pakistan to Nepal via Karachi and Dubai while in possession of a 15-day tourist visa.
She traveled through Nepal, stopping in Pokhara for the night.
The following morning, May 12, Seema boarded a bus from Pokhara and entered India through the Roopandehi-Khunwa (Khunwa) border area of Siddharthnagar.
On March 13, after passing via Lucknow and Agra, she arrived at the Rabupura cut, Gautam Buddha Nagar. According to the UP police, Sachin had already hired a room in Rabupura where they had begun cohabitating.
