Satna Rape Case:

In the Madhya Pradesh town of Maihar’s Satna district, authorities said that a 12-year-old girl was brutally assaulted, raped, and bit numerous times by two men who apparently worked for the trust overseeing a well-known temple.

According to police sources, the two males who have been detained also allegedly forced a hard object into her privates on Thursday. However, a senior official said this can only be confirmed once the results of her medical examination are in.

The girl, who was heavily bleeding, was taken to a hospital at the divisional headquarters in Rewa, according to the police, who also named the suspects as Ravindra Kumar Ravi and Atul Bhadoliya.

“I don’t deny that the accused Ravindra Kumar Ravi and Atul Bhadoliya inserted a stick or another object into the 12-year-old’s privates. But a medical report is the only place where this may be verified. Her medical evaluation is still pending. Ashutosh Gupta, the superintendent of police in Satna, confirmed that the woman was bleeding and said that medics were keeping an eye on her condition.

He claimed that she had bite marks and other injuries consistent with a sexual attack on her body.

When questioned about the girl’s status, the SP stated that a group of doctors who were caring for her at the time had determined that she was in “okay” condition.

Gupta declared, “We are prosecuting the accused.”

According to Gupta, the two defendants, both of whom are 30 years old, were presented before a local court on Friday and were given a 14-day judicial detention sentence.

IPC sections 376 (punishment for rape), 376DB (punishment for gang rape on woman under 12 years of age), 366A (procuration of minor girl), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means), 34 (common intention), and pertinent POCSO Act provisions were used to charge the pair, according to the police.

In a similar event, the Maa Sharda Devi Mandir Management Committee, Maihar, released a press release with the administrator’s signature that indicated they had immediately fired employees Ravi and Bhadoliya after a criminal case was filed against them.

According to the statement, “their immoral act has damaged the temple’s reputation.”

Another officer reported that the rape assault happened in Maihar, a temple town located around 45 kilometers from the district seat.

According to him, the accused reportedly persuaded the victim and transported her to a remote location where they assaulted and raped her.

According to Maihar SDOP Lokesh Dabar, the police detained the pair early on Friday.

After receiving first aid at Maihar, the victim was sent to the Rewa hospital, he claimed.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the chief minister, gave the police strict orders to prosecute the suspect and get the girl the finest care possible.

The woman was subjected to an atrocious attack, which was reminiscent of the 2012 Nirbhaya case in Delhi, according to Kamal Nath, head of the Madhya Pradesh Congress, who condemned the event.

A 23-year-old woman was raped and fatally attacked in the nation’s capital during the horrific 2012 incident, often known as the Nirbhaya case. This incident sparked protests and widespread indignation across the country.

According to a tweet from Nath, these incidences involving sisters and daughters are now common in Madhya Pradesh and show that the administration of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has failed to provide their protection.

He asked for the girl’s best medical care and Rs 1 crore in financial support.
