According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), several parts of India received heavy rainfall in the Northern parts including Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana and Punjab.
The latest report of IMD said, on July 19 the cyclonic circulation will arise over the Bay of Bengal and odisha and extends up to middle tropospheri level. The lower pressure areas of North West are likely to be influenced during the next 48 hours.
In Gujarat, Junagadh recorded 111mm of rainfall and was heavily affected by floods while Mangrol taluka received 290mm of rainfall. MALIA Hatina taluka and Mahavadar recorded 191 and 110mm of rainfall, the state emergency operation centre (SEOC) said.
In Jammu and Kashmir, 8 people were killed in floods while landslides seen in the upper reaches of Kathua in J & K.
In Himachal Pradesh, IMD issued a warning with predictions of heavy rainfall likely to occur in various places in HP.
The people faced so many problems related to their daily activities, the water crisis, electricity problem and so on. 117 death cases reported in Himachal Pradesh. Various places are in danger zones like Maharashtra, Jammu and Kashmir, Gujarat, Kerala and more, issued by IMD.
