The foundation stone lies for three national highways (NH) project at Tripura in Andhra Pradesh worth INR 2,900 crore on Thursday by Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari.
The road build which is stretching from Naidupeta to Turpi Kanupur for 35km on NH-71 worth INR 1,399 crore; another from Chillakuru cross to Krishnapatnam port south gate via Turpi Kanupur on NH-516W worth INR 909 crore and from Thamminapatnam to Naikellapalle encompasses the extension from Epuru to Krishnapatnam Port of 16km on NH -516W and NH-67 worth INR 610 crore.
The aim is to provide smooth and clean roads for the smooth transportation. On thursday, our transport minister said in the press release, this project provides safety and convenience away from Tirumala and Srikalahasti.
He wanted to boost tourism which connects people such as Nelapattu Bird Sanctuary and SHAR in Sriharikota. Additionally, they enhance the convenience of devotees who are traveling in religious places such as Shri Balaji Temple in Tripura and Shri Shiva Temple in Srikalahawti. It also provide employment from this project as well.
