Gyanvapi Mosque: Suggest Muslims to correct their ‘historical mistakes’, by CM Yogi

The verdict of the Allahabad High court on the petition wanted a stay on Varanasi court’s order on Gyanvapi Mosque scientist survey by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath virtually support the Hindu’s claim and ask to Muslim community to ‘correct the historical mistakes’.

In an interview with a private TV news agency, CM Yogi said this country is governed by the Constitution not religious and also added Uniform Civil Code (UCC), which were opposed by the Muslim’s leader.

According to the Deccan Herald Report, ‘There will be a dispute if I call Gyanvapi a mosque….those who have been given sight by the God should see….what’s a trident doing inside a mosque?…..we didn’t keep it there…the walls (of Gyanvapi) are creaming….there is Jyotirlinga, there are many idols, “the saffron clad CM said.

The Chief Minister Yogi suggested that the Muslim community should accept that it’s a ‘historical mistake’ and give up on ‘Gyanvapi Mosque’.

Anjuman Intezamia Masjid Committe who looks after Gyanvapi Mosque filed a petition in the Allahabad court and wanted a stay on the Varanasi court’s order for the ASI survey.

The Hindu petitioners contended that a part of the temple had been demolished by the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb in the 17th century.

The Muslim side contended that the Mosque existed before the reign of Aurangzeb and also claimed that the same had also claimed that the same had also been mentioned in the land records, by Deccan Herald Report.
