He said, “From east to west, north to south, India’s infrastructure is changing. The world’s highest rail bridge is in India, the longest tunnel at the highest altitude is in India, the highest motorable road, the largest stadium, the largest statue — all of it is in India.” He was speaking at the opening of Delhi’s renovated Pragati Maidan.
He further stated that the economic growth would keep up with the nation’s expectations.
“India’s economy ranked 10th during our first term. It is currently the fifth largest economy in the world as I serve my second term. According to my track record, I’ll persuade the nation that during my third term, the economy would rank among the top three in the world. “India will rank among the top three economies during my third term. And this is Modi’s assurance.
PM Modi Speech on the Inauguration day of Bharat Mandapam:
In a political speech held at the International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre, presently known as “Bharat Mandapam,” Prime Minister Modi contrasted the progress of the last nine years to the whole growth of the six decades since Independence.
“India only managed to electrify 20, 000 km of train lines in the last 60 years, as opposed to the 40,000 km completed by his government in the last nine years… We are currently finishing 6 km of metro lines per month and less than 4 lakh km of village roads.
