Saturday saw the release of the Poco M6 Pro 5G smartphone in India. This phone is powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC and features a dual back camera configuration. India will begin selling the smartphone on August 9 at 12 p.m. IST. A 5,000mAh battery that can be charged quickly (18W) serves as its power source. MIUI 14 is preinstalled and is based on Android 13. With a 6.79-inch screen, the Poco M6 Pro 5G is said to have the largest display of all of the company’s handsets.
Today’s announcement concerning the Poco M6 Pro 5G’s release. The launch of the smartphone, dubbed a “5G disrupter,” was revealed by the Poco India account in a post on X.
Poco M6 Pro 5G: Price in India, availability
Two storage and RAM options are available for the Poco smartphone. The base model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage costs Rs. 10,999, while the model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage costs Rs. 12,999. On August 9 at 12 PM IST, India will start selling the Poco M6 Pro 5G. The country’s sole retailer of the smartphone will be Flipkart.
The smartphone will have a glass back and be available in Power Black and Forest Green.
Poco M6 Pro 5G: Specifications
This 5G smartphone was released by the sub-brand of Xiaomi and features a 6.79-inch FHD+ display with a 240Hz touch sampling rate and a 90Hz refresh rate. The Poco M6 Pro 5G’s screen is covered in a Gorilla Glass 3 layer for protection. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC inside. It comes pre-installed with MIUI 14 on top of Android 13 and offers two significant OS updates as well as three years of security patches.
