In her desi Barbie dress, Kiara Advani stole the stage as the star of Falguni Shane Peacock’s India Couture Week (ICW) presentation.
The Renaissance Reverie collection by Falguni Shane Peacock, which was featured during the inaugural show of the FDCI’s Hyundai India Couture Week 2023 on Tuesday, caught everyone’s attention as the Satyaprem Ki Katha actor went down the runway.
For the designer, whose most recent collection was on display at the fashion spectacular, Kiara stole the show. Kiara brought desi Barbie magic to the runway in a hot pink bralette and stylish lehenga skirt combo while the models donned gorgeous traditional attire from Falguni Shane Peacock’s new collection.

Kiara’s hot pink attire included a deep V-neckline that highlighted her décolletage in addition to a beautiful bralette with wide shoulder straps. She showed off her midriff with an asymmetrical cropped hem that was embellished with fringes made of beaded trim, a backless design, and glittering sequined accents.
The lehenga skirt Kiara wore had a daring thigh-high slit on the front, a snatched high-rise waistband, and a figure-hugging design. With a long train at the back and sparkling sequin accents in abstract patterns on the bodice, the skirt was embellished. The attire is a great option for wedding cocktail parties if the bride enjoys being daring and isn’t afraid to go down the risqué route.

The actress decided to forgo all other accessories and pair the costume with just a pair of holographic peep-toe high shoes. Her makeup included darker eyebrows, sparkling eye shadow, thick mascara, and delicate contouring. She also had flushed cheekbones and dazzling highlighter. She completed the image with a side-parted, open, wavy haircut that was delicately ruffled.
The official Instagram pages of FDCI and Falguni Shane Peacock both included photos and videos of Kiara strutting down the runway in the Indo-Western ensemble. The videos show the actor on the catwalk, showcasing her bright pink outfit to the crowd, and taking the final step with Falguni and Shane Peacock.
