Heavy rainfall alert has been issued by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) in several states till August 6. Some of the states like Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and many more are included in high alert, IMD reports.
IMD also said that there may be a flood due torrential rains in western and eastern Madhya Pradesh between 3 to 5 August. Uttar Pradesh may also face heavy rain in isolated parts of western and eastern Uttar Pradesh till August 6. While heavy rain is also expected in Chattisgarh till August 4.
It may be expected rain in the coming few days from plain to mountain areas. While many parts of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan are in high alert till 3 to 7 August, IMD reports says.
According to IMD reports, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya also see weather changes for the next five days. Light to moderate rain may be seen in some parts of India during these days.

On Wednesday, heavy rain in odisha caused one person to be killed and six others were injured due to a wall collapse. 24 hours of heavy rain, the level is increased in the river of northern and western Odisha.
