Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign:

More than 40 million selfies have been uploaded to the Har Ghar Tiranga website of the federal government by citizens of the nation. As India commemorates its 77th Independence Day, the campaign will run from August 13–15. Prior to the primary celebration of Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had urged citizens to take part in the campaign. The Prime Minister urged people to change the display image of their social media handles to the national flag as part of a “unique effort” in a message on social media before the significant day.

The government has received 43,644,013 (4.3 million) selfies with the tricolor, according to the Har Ghar Tiranga website. The website’s home page has been updated to include a selfie upload feature.

There are two choices when a user opens the portal: uploading a selfie with the flag or a digital Tiranga.

The user can scroll down to see images of Union ministers, celebrities, and athletes holding Indian flags.

Numerous activities will be held over the course of a week on today, the Amrit Kal’s second Independence Day. On Partition Day (August 14), silent processions will be held alongside the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign to recall the horrors of the Partition of India and pay respects to the victims of the violence that occurred at that time.

At PM Modi’s Independence Day flag-raising ceremony at Delhi’s renowned Red Fort, over 1,800 distinguished visitors from all around India will be present.
