Delhi Murder Case:

NEW DELHI: In Delhi, a guy allegedly beat his cousin to death with an iron rod because she wouldn’t marry him and he was having trouble persuading anyone else to agree either.
The 25-year-old was assassinated in a park on Friday afternoon by a man who, according to police, had been preparing the murder for three days before turning himself in.

“We learned that a 25-year-old woman’s body had been discovered in a park in Malviya Nagar, South Delhi, close to Aurobindo College. A Delhi Police official reported that an iron rod was discovered next to her body.

According to the investigation, the victim was identified as Nargis and was seen in the park with her cousin Irfan. Nargis was discovered by the police to be enrolled in a stenography course in Malviya Nagar and to have graduated from Kamala Nehru College earlier this year.

Irfan surrendered to the authorities and was arrested while they continued their investigation. Irfan, a 28-year-old food delivery worker, revealed to the police that his mother and Nargis’ mother are related when being questioned. He claimed that the reason his family had declined his request to wed Nargis was in part because he did not have a suitable profession.

Additionally, Nargis declined to wed him and ceased communicating with him and returning his calls. Irfan expressed to the police his dismay and indignation over this, which was made worse by the fact that no one else was willing to marry him.

Nargis would traverse the park today on her way home from her stenography class, according to Irfan, who claimed to have plotted the murder three days prior. Around noon, she was walking through the park when Irfan pulled her in and asked to speak to her. When she refused, he allegedly took an iron rod out of his backpack and struck her, according to the police.

The youngster was upset after his marriage proposal was turned down, and the girl ceased communicating with him or returning his calls, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police (South Delhi), Chandan Chowdhury. He murdered her for this reason, claims.

Following today’s tragedy and the murder of a woman in Delhi’s Dabri neighborhood last night, DCW chairperson Swati Maliwal questioned how many murders would be required for the center to hold the Delhi Police accountable.

The capital city of India, Delhi, has become incredibly dangerous. Today, two incidents have come to light. In Dabri, a woman was shot, while another was brutally murdered in the open with an iron rod. In newspapers across the nation, girls’ identities are changed, yet crimes continue, according to Ms. Maliwal.

“I would like to inquire as to how many more fatalities must occur before the Delhi Police are held accountable. Notices are being sent to the Delhi Police after the DCW took notice of the incidents, the speaker continued.
