First Look at Chandramukhi 2: The Makers Unveil Kangana Ranaut’s Royal Appearance in the Psychological-Horror Comedy

Chandramukhi 2

The long-awaited psychological horror-comedy Chandramukhi 2 first look has finally been shown to movie fans. Kangana Ranaut stars in this film. In the 2005 horror comedy starring Rajnikanth, Jyothika, Kangana is expected to reprise her role. Chandramukhi was a remake of Manichitrathazhu, a 1993 epic-psychological-horror movie starring Mohanlal.

The stakes are very high this time around for both acting prowess and financial success. Since Kangana has won four national awards, she is inevitably compared to Jyothika and Shobana from Manichitrathazhu. The classic story’s Hindi remakes, Bhool Bhulaiyaa with Akshay Kumar, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 with Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu, were both huge box office successes, so it will be interesting to see P Vasu’s interpretation of the story.
