According to the National Center for Seismology, an earthquake with a Richter scale value of 4.4 has hit Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan.
According to the report, the earthquake struck on July 21, 2023, at 4:09 am, about 9 km (10 km) away from Jaipur, Rajasthan.
At 4.22 am, an aftershock of a magnitude of 3.1 was recorded, according to NCS.
In a tweet, Rajasthan’s minister of tourism and civil aviation, Murari Lal Meena, said, “Earthquake in Jaipur. I hope you’re all secure.

Vasundhara Raje, a former chief minister of Rajasthan, tweeted in response to the earthquakes, saying, “Earthquake vibrations have been felt at various places in the state, including Jaipur. I hope you’re all secure.

A video of the earthquake was uploaded by another resident, Jahnvi Sharma. “What a terrifying day to witness such a high magnitude earthquake in Jaipur,” she said.
