There are so many cases of dengue and malaria that seem to be raised in those places which are affected in deadly flooding and landslides. The highest case recorded in the national capital of India, Delhi. According to a Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) that released a report on Monday 17 July, 2023.
That report also concluded as 54 cases of malaria have been recorded in the same period. This comes at a time when the extra-heavy monsoon rainfall has caused deadly flooding and landslides in several parts of India.
Due to this monsoon and flood, the mosquitoes are more active in some parts of India that are also known as vector born diseases. This results in the transmission of infection through blood feeding to humans and other animals. That causes several diseases and is sufficient to make you sick.
In this situation, it is very important to take care of the health of individuals as well as family also. These vector born diseases such as malaria, dengue and chikungunya can lead to serious health complications and make you sick for prolonged time and drop down your bank balance also.
Some tips to prevent dengue and malaria:
1) Keep the light in the dark areas to keep mosquitoes away.
2) Use mosquito nets while going to bed.
3) Clean your home properly and especially the corner areas of the house.
4) Take out the water from the pots, coolers, tyres and tanks.
5) Close your windows and doors to prevent the entering of mosquitoes in the house.
6) Take healthy food to boost immunity and health.
7) Wear full clothes to protect yourself from the mosquitoes.
