According to the Henley Passport Index 2023: Indian ranking in passport is improved and now ranked 80 from last year of report. Indian citizens can travel up to 57 countries without a visa. It is a great achievement for the Indian people and those who always use to go foreign countries for their work or any reasons.
However, it is recorded that the mobility of Indian people is poor. Hence, Indian citizens need a visa to enter 177 destinations across the world like China, Japan, Russia, The United States and the entire European Union.
Japan and Singapore have the world’s most powerful passports which allow visa free entry in 192 places in the world.
Japan dropped down at third place while the UK ranked at fourth place.
This is good news for all those people of India who travelled a lot in a year to all over the world. It indicates that the image of India is improving globally.
