The toll-free number 1947 is the customer care number for the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI).
You can call this number to get help with your Aadhaar card, such as registering for an Aadhaar card, revising your Aadhaar card, or reporting a lost or damaged Aadhaar card. You can also call this number to file a complaint about the UIDAI or to give feedback.
UIDAI is a statutory authority established by the Government of India under the provisions of the Aadhaar Act. UIDAI is accountable for the enactment and management of the Aadhaar program, which is the world’s largest biometric identification system.
