Chandrayan – 3 updates : Awaiting the launch of ISRO’s lunar mission , Know details of the mission

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is on the brink of creating another moment i.e. Chandrayaan-3. Chandrayaan-3 is a follow-on mission to Chandrayaan-2 to demonstrate end-to-end capability in safe landing and roving on the lunar surface. It will be launched by LVM3 from Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, India, at 2.35 P.M. IST on July 14. The propulsion module will the the lander and rover configuration till 100 km lunar orbit.

The mission objectives of Chandrayaan-3 are:

  • To demonstrate Safe and Soft Landing on Lunar Surface.
  • To demonstrate Rover roving on the moon .
  • To conduct in-situ scientific experiments.
