Elon Musk Introduces New Feature on X News:

People have been teased with a new feature on the microblogging website by Elon Musk, who just relaunched Twitter as X. The billionaire posted a live video on Friday that included several X workers as well and attracted 4.9 million viewers. He mentioned the live video function being available in another tweet. By clicking on the blue camera emblem, users can watch live videos. The day before, Musk unveiled a new feature that permits verified users to download videos from the network, subject to permission from the content providers who posted them.

Musk shared the camera symbol on X along with the statement, “Live video now works reasonably well.”

Within two hours of Musk releasing the news, it received over 3.5 million views and over 40,000 interactions.

The news follows Musk’s appearance last night on X alongside his office staff for 53 seconds. The billionaire had made no announcements about this impending film at the time.

Musk also stated, in response to one of the comments, that the feature will need to be improved.

An additional new feature for X that allows users to download videos was introduced by Musk the day before. The only people who can download these videos from content producers who permit downloading are verified users.

Musk has been appointed X’s product and engineering leader as part of his ongoing Twitter redesign.

The billionaire commented on July 23 about replacing the blue bird emblem for Twitter to a simple X and adding the social media platform’s name and domain. Web, iOS, and Android versions of X all quickly reflected the update.

Musk is stepping up efforts to make X “the everything app” by making verification ticks on the platform monetizable and adding new features practically weekly.

In July, Musk announced that the monthly users on the platform have spiked to a ‘new high’ to reach the mark of 540 million.
