Rocky and Rani ki Prem Kahani Movie Review: This movie shows the obstacles that occur between cultural differences

movie

The Karan Johar film Rocky and Rani ki Prem Kahani which is based on overcoming the cultural differences between both the families of Rocky and Rani after falling in love with each other.

This movie stars Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, Aamir Bashir and Tota Roy Chowdhury are doing fabulous work.

Karan Johar once again comes with a new story which shows that culture difference becomes a problem in the marriage. Families can’t believe that unity is diversity, when it comes to the marriage decision.

This film says that we can learn to live with each other’s imperfections which is an extremely fabulous concept.

This story concluded that the jaunty Rocky ( Ranveer Singh) belongs to an urban Punjabi family who enters Rani Chatterjee’s (Alia Bhatt) life. Rocky runs a family sweetmeat business which is controlled by his grandmother Dhanalakshmi (Jaya Bachchan) who is patriarchal by her mindset.

In line with this story, When Rocky and Rani realised that they have more than just a physical attraction then they both start convincing their in-laws to overcome with the cultural differences.

In this time, Karan Johar felt that there has been a type of cultural differences running in our society. The audience would love this film and like the concept of Rocky and Rani.
